I have the day off 2moro, ice fishing with a guide in the a.m. and then off to a local hunt club. What a way to spend a day off. I'll report on our adventure.

We had a dozen pheasants and 1/2 dozen huns released, and ended up somewhere around 13 birds. 5 of the huns got up together on our last pass through the sorgum which was fun to watch. It was 30 degrees with a bright sun so it was a perfect afternoon for chasing birds. My black lab got a good work out, she hasn't gotten out much the last couple of years, by the time we got home she was spent! Two days later and she is still slow to get up. Her age is starting to show, she'll be 10 in April.
