If the long tail feathers fall out of a pheasant will the grow back? If they will how long will it take?

They will grow back. Generally it will take 6-8 weeks, depending on the time of the year and the temperture outside. As it gets colder it will take longer because the birds are using more energy to keep warm.

A pheasant needs to be about 20-21 weeks old for the tail feathers to be set, then you won't have to worry about them falling out. If they get broken off and are stubby you need to pull them out and they will grow a new one in about 8 weeks. Otherwise that stub tail will stay until they molt in spring for the breeding plumage.

Cool, I didn't know that I figured once the tail was broke it stayed like that until next year.
