I would say 8-12 weeks depending on the weather and type of feed the birds are on. Keep them on a higher protein diet to help the feathers re grow.

Depending on the weather i.e. hot or cold ive read 5-6 weeks...

Pulled 7000 tails this year. Steelhead's post above is the best response based on my experience this year.
